i think I learn better by answering the questions however copying the images are easier to do. I think this because with answering the questions your physically write down what is on the test. but with the images you are just focusing on the coloring and not the information. so I personally think we should draw a picture and then write a caption underneath. that way we still are getting the information but we are still having fun ( I guess).
I think drawing the pictures is better for me because, I learn better that way because if I can draw it and be able to physically see it is better be that is just me and anyone can have their own opinion but this is what is best for me and also I am having fun while I am doing it.
I remember the info from our geography books better by illustrating it. I remember it better that way because you are actually writing it down and putting where it should go. when you answer questions most of the time it doesn't show you a diagram of the map. but with copying you put it where it belongs.
I feel that there is a difference if you copy it down. I feel this way because when I try to remember a phone number, I write it down 20 times. I feel writing diagrams down would help, although writing a paragraph wouldn't. A paragraph is too long to remember. In a nutshell, I think writing out diagrams is helpful, but not the side-paragraphs.
Because you work on problems to remember
I think I remember the questions better when I answer them and use the information instead of drawing it which to me feels like i am just mindlessly copying the information with no purpose. I feel like answering it with questions about it makes me feel more need to remember the information i have learned in class. As for my reason against it I feel no need to remember and don't end up remembering it as well.
I find that i learn better by answering questions because i write then down. it also helps me study more easily.
I think what helps me the most is both awnsering it and drawing it if we as a class do both of those things we will do better because we are doing more that is what helps me the most
I find that remember information from our geography book better when we answer questions because I'm not a visual learner and am terrible at drawing so I don't understand what we're learning as much.
I remember better when I did the drawing, because i paid attention to the signs and the details while drawing, not just scanning over it.
Yes i did find that the geography book was better because you could get simple information by just flipping a page or skipping a paragraph.Another reason why i like the geography book better because its neater.
I like to copy the illustrations from the book instead of answering the questions because, when you copy the illustrations once you've finished you can put it in a binder and save it to study for a test or quiz, also because if you get an answer wrong you have to go back and fix it. With the copying of the illustrations you will almost never get it wrong.
I find it better for me to write the facts. It helps me rember when I physicly write the words. That makes it stay in my brain longer.
I find it easier to use the information from the geography book instead of the illustrations because when you look at the illustrations you are getting information but at the same time you are looking at a picture. I find the pictures a little distracting. I also think that we should use the geography book because 99.9 percent of the time their are no mistakes, only trustworthy information. Also the pictures might not always be accurate.
I find it easier to remember things when I take notes. I think when I write something down it's easier to remember. I also think pictures help too.
for me i think that copying the illistrations help me a little better for remembering informmation better because then i can save it and when i need to see what something means than i can look at the picture or text
i think it is easier for me to answer questions is when i have it in the book. this is easier for me because i can look anything up in the geography book but for illustrations its on a piece of paper and is only has some details about it. but also if you mess up on the paper then you have to start it over again.
I remember information better when answering questions. I think this because quizes stay in your mind a lot of the time. Answers are easy to remember, when you are correcting and you know you got the wrong answer.
I remember the info by copying the illustrations because it is more effective to me by actually repeating the illustration. If I answer questions about the topic it would help but it wont be as helpful.
I find that it is easier to write the answers instead of draw.
I find that easier because that way you know the text word by word instead of a picture you might have drawn. What if the picture that you drew is not on the test what would you do?? Would you draw every word is?? plus studies show that you are more likely to remember things in blue pen.
I do think that I remember the information from our geography books better when we draw the pictures and do the worksheets because we are then not just reading the information from a book, where it can be lost in other details, but we are using the information on our own and using it in a way that puts the important ideas front and center so there is no way you can miss them . That is why these activities help me.
I find it easier to draw the pictures because it is fun while you are still making progress in your learning
I feel that copying illustrations from the geography book is better because I feel i remember facts better with an image than by just reading them. I normally ignore the pictures even though they may have a better way of showing the information.
I think I remember more when I answer questions as opposed to when I copy illustrations. I think this because if we have to copy a lot Down then we will start not paying attention to what we are copying and then we won't remember anything that we read. It also a long time copying it and I could be spending that Time studying.
i found it easier to draw because it helps me because i remember most of what i draw so it thought it would be good for helping me study for quiz.
I think that illustrating from the book helps me remember information better than just answering questions. When you draw a picture of something you are studying from a book, you focus on what you are drawing and writing, so you will be able to remember information very well. Also, when you are drawing map you will able to see where something is close to. For eg. The prime meridian passes through England inside Europe and also through Africa. I can remember this because when I was drawing the continents I paid close attention to where they were so my drawings will be as accurate to the book as possible.
I find it easier to remember info from our geography book by answering questions. I find it easier because when I study for a test and I know that those questions will appear on it, I can give myself a quiz using those questions and keep asking myself those questions again and again. When I draw a illustration, I find it harder. Info in an image doesn't directly tell you what the question is that matches with the information. When I answer questions, I can memorize both the question and the answer. It helps me answer questions, while remembering what it is the answer to.
I learn better when I write down about the geography book. I learn better because I can always look back. Plus I'm a bad drawer so I might forget what it is and what it is teaching us.This is why I prefer writing information down
I think I can learn better with drawing illustrations on a piece of paper because I can take the paper anywhere and i have it with me at all times. The book you can only keep it for a certain amount of time
I find that it's easier to remember information from our geography books when we answer questions about them (even though I enjoy drawing the pictures) because when their was text in the pictures, I wrote them down, but I didn't put much attention to them. When we answer questions about what we have learned, we have to try to remember what we have learned and read about and also have to go back in the book to see if we are right. When I am drawing, I mostly pay attention to the colors I'm using, the shades I'm making them, the detail I'm putting especially on the countries and continents, and my spacing in the final product. The words I am writing down go through my hands and the pencil onto the paper, but they don't go through my brain before writing them down. When I answer questions, it adds pressure to make it seem like a test. When I am drawing, it just seems like one of those art projects teachers occasionally give. When there is pressure added, I get nervous and start making mistakes, but it also reminds me to stay more focused. I prefer doing the drawings, but the questions on paper helps me learn better.
I find it better when I answer the questions. I find this easier because your physically writing the answers down on papper. Pictures help me too but I find doing questions make it easier.
