This is a hard question for me. But i would be blind because then i could still hear peple and talkto them. Also then i could here so many beutiful sounds. that is why i would rather be blind than deaf.
I would rather be deaf than blind. If I were blind, there goes any physical activity you could do. When you are deaf, you can do sports, because they use signs to tell you what to do. If you wanted to communicate when you are blind, you can't see them, so you can be looking the other way and talking. You also can't really do anything when you are blind. You can't run and see what is in front of you, so you can hurt yourself. You can't do sports, nor watch T.V.
Being deaf and not blind, you can do much more. Run, play activities, and much more! This is why I would rather be deaf than being blind.
This is hard because I would not want to be either. If I had to choose I would be deaf. I would be deaf because you do not need to hear the world as much as seeing it. To do most every thing, you need to see. If I was blind how would I know what to wear? :D
I would be deaf because you could still be able to see where your going and that helps with sports. Also if you had a not so severe case of deafness, then you could get hearing aids and you could hear that way. Also you could see everything that was happening around you.
I would rather be deaf. So I could know my surroundings and I know some sign language from my old school so it would be easier than using that other bump code words thingy. Also if I'm deaf I don't need to hear mean things that people say to me. Also I don't need to hear all the things that now in life I don't want to hear. But in my mind both have their pros and cons. More cons though.
I would choose deaf because that way I can still see stuff although I won't be able to hear people or communicate with them, but I could learne sign languagewhich would allow me to communicate with other people and see who I was talking to when I did it where as if I was blind, I wouldn't be able to see who I was talking to.
I would rather be deaf because I could still see the beautiful things in the world and see people's reactions to the crazy things that happen. Also, I could still communicate if I could read lips and speak. I still wouldn't like it, but I'd rather be deaf than blind.
If I had to be either blind or deaf, I would be deaf. Its a hard question but I think I use my eyes more than my ears. I use my eyes to do things like read and watch where I am going so I don't bump into anyone or thing.
Out of the two, it is obvious I would choose to be deaf. I value sight over sound because without sight I couldn't ever see my family's faces, or look at the beutiful sping time trees. With hearing I can hear people and animals, but it is not the same.
If I could be Blind or Deaf, I would be deaf. If you are blind, so many people can take advantage of you by doing things when you can't see them, but if you are just deaf, you can find a way to communicate with friends by having secret language or a peice of paper for them to write on. I think you can do more when you are deaf.
This is a hard one. Being deaf would mean you would have to wear a huge heavy duty hearing aid or learn sign language. that would be bad because it would effect your speech witch is horrible for me. Obviously. Being blind means you would not be able to see. Many blind people happen to become famous musicians like Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder. So I would have to choose being blind for point being that It would not effect my speaking. Which would be a crime. So blind it is.
I would be deaf.I would be deaf because what if i cant hear anything that does not even matter because i would rather see the cool things of life then walking around not seeing anything and only hearing.I would rather see because of danger becasue of danger i could see the problem and i could escape and if i heard it it would probablily be too late and i could have died by then. This is why i would like to see and be deaf rather than hear and cant see.-0skie
If had to be faced with this option, would choose going deaf. This is because I love drawning (true fact. just see my math binder.) and I can draw if i am deaf, but it would be much, much harder to draw if at all possible. Another reason I would go deaf is because I would like the exprience to live on my own and drive. If you go blind, you cant live alone or drive because it is not safe. This is why I woul go deaf as apose to blind.
If i had to be blind or deaf, i would be blind. this is because i dont think that i could ever stand using sign language. Also, if i could only talk to people that knew sign language it would be hard to meet new people. I wouldn't be able to see, but i could have a guide dog. I would never really be able to read, but i could listen to audible books or learn brail. I just feel that there are more ways to overcome blindness than deafness.
I would wanna lose hearing because you would miss the beauty of the world If u lost ur sight. Also if I lost my sIght I wouldn't be able to see my kids grow up......
I would be deaf because my dog is blind and he never knows where he is going. Also if you were deaf you could still understand people with sign language.
Well I honestly can't say..... The reason is because being blind means not able to to. But the problem is not able to see things means im not able to the sports I enjoy doing since you can't see the ball, the people or anything else around you. The other thing is if your deaf you arent able to here the referee blow the whistle when there is a foul on the field or the buzzer when it's halftime. And you hear Kenny Smith Charles Barkley Ernie Johnson and Shaq make fun of eachother! :)
I would be blind because then i could at least hear what was going on, and then i could reply back easy and i could tell if someone is sarcastic and i wouldn't have to look at a peice of paper to "hear" what is happening and what is there to know but the downside is that my sister would most likely take advantige of my hinderince and mess with me just for fun it sounds just like her and others could act like a different person just by changing their voice.
If I had to choose between being blind and being deaf then I would probably choose deaf because you can always learn to read lips. But if you are blind however you can't exactly use sonar to detect what is around you. That is why I would rather be deaf than blind.
I would have to say deaf because being blind in my opinion is much worse. It would be like seing black 24/7. It would be hard to get around because you couldnt see where you were going or know what you might fall/trip/bump into. If your deaf you can get a round and you can talk still but seeing what other people have to say ould be impossible. But atleast you could see what someone wanted to say if they typed or wrote out something.
If I had to choose to be blind or deaf, I would choose to be deaf. Losing sight would be a very difficult time in life. It would be hard to get around. You can't drive a car or ride a bike. If I was deaf I would be able to read lips and use sign language to communicate.
