I think that our responsibility is to try to make that special person feel as normal as they could. You don't want to make faces ir do anything that will make that person feel like they are weird even though they are a little different those people don't want to feel like they are making everyone uncomfortable. So our job is to make those people feel as normal as possible
Well, first of all I would like to say, that everyone is different from us. If not how we look, how we act, what we like, and if you somehow do manage to be 100 percent normal, than you actually are different because your normal when everyone else is different. But I feel like this question is more towards appearance wise. Our responsibility to them is to stand up for them and too get to know them. To look past the disability to get to know the person and help others to accept that person, too. The mistake that Jack Will made was going and talking about Summer behind his back. This is also our responsibility not to do, not to befriend and then betray. If people are staring, just ignore and make sure you are really genuinely making friends with him/her as apposed to being phony and treating him/her different in any other way than you would treat someone else.
You ahould just act normall they are probably used to people starring so just make them feel normal!!
I think, if we come across them in public, is not to make a face or stare at them because it would make them depressed. I think we should just walk by them, and looks there just another person, and not make them feel bad. I don't want to make them feel worse than they already do for having a problem like August.
Our responsibility as a citizen when we come across these people who have disabilities is not to make fun of them. When we see them we cant over react and we cant point them out of the crowd. If you don't know them then you just have to pass them as if they were any other person. Sometimes we cant help but make a reaction so you just have to hide it so they don't feel bad about there problem.
Well I believe our responsibility when we see these people is treat them like the way you want to be treated. I believe that the way you want to treat everyone and everyone to treat you like that. To be honest the people who are different are just like us. The may act different or look a little unique. That means nothing because they could like the same things or think the same thoughts. No one is necessarily normal or the same we are all different and everyone should respect that about each other.
Our responsiblity as a citizen when we see people that are different we should be nice to them and not judge on how they look or what they can or cannot say
Our responsibility is to make that one person who is different to feel comfortable and treat them like normal people. If you we're different then you need to treat people the way that you want to be treated so that they may even forget that they are even different because of how comfortable and how natural you acted around them so then you get to make someone feel good
Our role when we see a person who is different looking than us is to be kind no matter what. For example, in the story Wonder Jason, Via’s boyfriend, feels uncomfortable around August. This is because August has special needs and Jason doesn’t want Via to think he is weird. But Jason is always kind to August, which makes August feel comfortable around Jason.
Another reason it is a good idea to be kind to a special person is because you can make him/her embarrassed, if you have a bad reaction to them. They make them feel terrible around themselves.
Umm this is a bit confusing for me.
Maybe, our responsibility is to treat them respectfully. Don't stare or be rude. If you walk by someone, just politely smile or wave. Everyone should understand that EVERYONE is different so you shouldn't judge ever!
I think that our responsibility as citizens is to act normally to these people. To make these people feel like they fit in. To just be a friend. Everyone is different. There is no reason for acting specialy around them to make them feel good. That is how i think we should treat the "different" people.
Well in my eyes it's to treat them the same way you treat everybody else. Like if your walking in front of a store lets say dsw shoes see a kid like August. The right thing to do is to not stare and if y
He or she talks to you you don't look away or say something rude you be nice and act normal. So be normal. And that's what I think I should do next time I see someone like that.
Our responsibility as a citizen is to treat people kindly, or how we want to be treated. We should not give them weird looks(like rolling your eyes) if they look weird or do something strange. I think when we pass by those people, we should just mind our on business and move on. Staring at someone for too long is very rude.
Ahhhhhh I miss u already!!!:(
As a citizen our responsibility is to be fair to all kinds of people around the world no matter what they have and they do not. We should treat our fellow citizens with respect and make sure they feel like the are making a difference in the society and they fit in. To make the world a happy place people have to be nice to people and respect them.
